Ads Manager builds one campaign and sends it to every ad account you choose — Google and Meta today, TikTok later. Leads land on your dialer list, and Ads Manager follows each one through to booked, showed and sold, so you judge ads on real sales, not clicks.
Open from Marketing → Ads Manager. Connect your ad accounts first: Meta Ads and Google Ads.
✨ What you get#
| One campaign, every network | Pick Meta, Google or both. One budget, split per account if you like. |
| Google Search ads | Keywords, ad text, sitelinks, callouts and a call button. Real monthly search numbers before you spend. |
| Meta lead ads | An Instant Form (no website needed) or your website with your Pixel. Leads drop straight onto a dialer list. |
| Local targeting | Cities with a radius, regions, ZIP codes, or a pin on the map. Shown to people in the area. |
| Nothing spends without a yes | Every launch, resume, or budget change on a live campaign shows exactly what will run and costs per day first. |
| Results that matter | Leads → contacted → conversations → booked → showed → sold, with cost per booked call and per sale. |
| Speed to lead | How fast your team called or texted each lead, and how many were never contacted. |
🤖 The easy way: ask your AI assistant#
With MCP connected, ask Claude, Codex, or Grok:
"Launch Google and Meta ads for my med spa in Myrtle Beach. $50 a day. I want booked consultations."
Your assistant:
- Asks a few short questions — your offer, your area, where leads should go, and your website (if you have one).
- Does the research — real Google keyword searches and bids for your area, and the Meta places and interests that fit.
- Builds the campaign — keywords and Google ad text, your Meta lead form or Pixel, local targeting, and your dialer list.
- Shows you the preview — every account, the daily spend, and the total. Nothing is live yet.
- Launches only after you say yes.
Later, ask:
"How are my ads doing? Which one should I scale?"
You get each campaign's cost per booked call and per sale, side by side, with a plain recommendation. Your assistant never pauses or changes a budget without your yes.
Judge ads on cost per booked call and cost per sale. A cheap lead that never books is not cheap.
🛠️ Do it yourself#
Three steps, and every change saves on its own.
Campaign
Marketing → Ads Manager → New campaign. Pick where your ads run, what you want from them (Leads for most businesses), a name and a daily budget. You see roughly what that costs per month before you go on.
Audience
Add the countries your ads show in. Leave Automatic audience and Automatic placements on unless you have a reason not to. Broad audiences usually get cheaper leads.
Ads
The ads studio. Your ad groups and ads are on the left, live previews in the middle, and the ad you're editing on the right. Drop an image or video anywhere on the previews, write the main text and headline, and pick a button.
Review and launch
Click Review & launch. You see exactly what you're about to spend per day and per month, which ad accounts are ready, and anything that still needs fixing. Click a problem to jump straight to the ad that needs it. Launch only unlocks when everything is ready.
👀 See your ads before they run#
Every ad is shown the way people will actually see it, on a real phone:
| Network | Previews |
|---|---|
| Meta | Facebook Feed, Instagram Feed, Reels, Stories, and Facebook on desktop |
| Search results on a phone and on desktop | |
| TikTok | The For You feed |
| Snapchat | Stories |
| The feed |
Switch between Mobile and Desktop. Click a video to hear it. Use All ads to see every ad side by side, each marked Ready or with what it still needs; hover to play, click to open it full size with sound.
The bar at the bottom of the previews holds the Version A / B arrows (when you wrote more than one version), the apps' light and dark looks, and zoom. Pinch with two fingers on a trackpad or touch screen to zoom, swipe to move around, or drag the empty canvas. Drag the edges of the side panels to make them wider or narrower.
🖼️ Creative specs#
| Best | Also works | |
|---|---|---|
| Image | 1080 × 1350 px (4:5) | 1080 × 1080 (1:1), 1080 × 1920 (9:16) |
| Video | 1080 × 1920 MP4 (9:16), under 60 seconds | MOV, 4:5 and 1:1 |
| File size | Up to 64 MB | |
| Primary text | Hook in the first 125 characters | Longer text is cut off after "See more" |
| Headline | Up to 40 characters | |
| Description | Up to 30 characters | |
| Google headlines | 30 characters or less, at least 3 | |
| Google descriptions | 90 characters or less, at least 2 |
Ads Manager checks every upload as you add it: its size, its shape, and whether it's too small or too wide for phones. Counters under your text show when it will be cut off. For images, Crop lets you frame Feed, Reels and Stories separately.
✍️ Test versions and variations#
- + Version on the main text, headline or description adds another version (up to 10). The network tests them and shows the winners more.
- Duplicate ad (the ··· menu next to the ad name) copies an ad so you can change one thing, like the hook, the image or the headline, and test it.
- Rename an ad group by double-clicking its name on the left.
- Delete ad works on drafts. On a live campaign, pause instead, so the network and AI Sync never disagree.
Adding your images and videos: drop them onto the previews, or give your AI assistant a link: a Google Drive file set to Anyone with the link, Dropbox, or any https file. To reuse a past winning ad, your assistant can use a video that's already in your Meta ad account, at full quality.
Several ad accounts? If your Facebook login reaches more than one ad account (agencies reach their clients' accounts), a new campaign starts with no account picked. Pick the ones it runs on under Ad accounts and safety limits on the Campaign step. That's also where you can give each account its own budget, and pause automatically when a lead costs too much.
Some settings are easiest to set with your AI assistant: the Meta Instant Form and its dialer list, cities with a radius, interests, cost caps, and Google keywords and bidding. Once set, they show on the Audience step under Set up by your AI assistant, so the screen always matches what launches.
📊 Results#
Open a launched campaign. The Results card shows the leads from the last 30 days and what they became, up to today:
| Step | What counts |
|---|---|
| Leads | Contacts from this campaign — website forms tagged by Ads Manager, and Meta or Google lead forms. |
| Contacted | Called, texted, emailed or left a voicemail after they came in. |
| Conversations | A real person picked up, they texted back, or they had a live AI call. |
| Booked | A calendar booking, an appointment set by a rep or your AI agent, or an appointment disposition. |
| Showed | The booking was marked Showed, or the contact's disposition says they showed. |
| Sold | The contact's disposition or pipeline stage says sold, won, closed, enrolled or paid. |
Mark bookings Showed or No-show in AI Sync, and use a disposition like Sold, so these numbers are right. Show-ups marked only inside GoHighLevel are not counted here.
💸 How spend approval works#
- Launch and Resume show what will run: every account, its daily budget, and the total per day.
- Changing the budget, accounts, places, objective or landing page of a live campaign shows the same preview first. Ad text changes don't.
- In the dashboard, clicking Launch is your yes. An AI assistant must show you the preview and wait for your yes; the approval only covers exactly what you saw and expires after 30 minutes.
- Only people with the Marketing permission can create, launch, pause or change ads. Agencies control this per client in the client's plan.
❓ Common questions#
Do I need a website?
Not for Meta. Use an Instant Form: people fill it in inside Facebook or Instagram and land on your dialer list. Google Search ads need a landing page.
My AI agent calls Instant Form leads. What should the form include?
A consent checkbox. Ask your AI assistant to create the form with consent: a required, unticked box saying your business may call and text them, including with AI and automated technology, that consent isn't a condition of purchase, that message and data rates may apply, and that they can reply STOP. Your assistant can also add an intro card, multiple-choice questions (for example which CRM they use), a thank-you page with a booking button, and Meta's higher-intent review step, which cuts junk leads.
Why does Ads Manager say my Page doesn't deliver leads?
Meta only sends Instant Form leads once lead delivery is on for that Page. Go to Marketing → Meta Ads → Pages & Lead Forms, switch that Page on until it shows Leads On, then launch.
My business is housing, jobs, credit or loans.
Meta requires a special ad category for these. Ads Manager sets it and follows Meta's rules: ages 18–65, all genders, and a radius of at least 15 miles. ZIP codes aren't allowed.
Which Google bidding should I use?
Start with Maximize clicks and a cap on cost per click. Switch to Maximize conversions with a target cost per lead once Google is counting your leads.
Can I pick a language for Google Search ads?
No. Google stopped language targeting for Search campaigns in September 2026; it now matches the language of your ads and landing page.
